DELIVER Europe 2024 – A Resounding Success in Amsterdam

In the ever-evolving landscape of supply chain and retail, DELIVER Europe has once again proven why it stands as the premier matchmaking event for industry leaders.

Celebrating its 9th edition at the Taets Art & Event Centre in Amsterdam on June 5-6, 2024, DELIVER brought together over 1,500 attendees, including 134 supply chain partners and more than 900 top retail names from across Europe, solidifying its position as the elite event within the supply chain ecosystem.

Since its inception in 2016, DELIVER has been committed to its mission of fostering meaningful connections among European leaders in retail, e-commerce, and logistics.

The latest edition of this flagship event underscored this commitment, with founder and CEO Stephane Tomczak emphasizing the guiding principles of People, Planet, and Profit. “We started with humble beginnings and a simple goal: to help business leaders make valuable connections at an elite level to accelerate partnership decisions on time-sensitive supply chain projects. Every year, we listen to our customers and community, reinventing ourselves to offer the best experience possible,” said Tomczak.

Central to DELIVER’s success is its precision matchmaking platform. This innovative system allows attending retailers and supply chain vendors to arrange on-site meetings with potential new partners based on the compatibility of their solutions with active supply chain projects.

The 2024 event facilitated over 4,500 such meetings, setting the stage for transformative partnerships in the industry.

The event’s agenda was equally impressive, featuring over 50 expert speakers who delivered a series of captivating keynotes and panel discussions.

Noteworthy sessions included insights from Jesper Toubøl, Vice President Operations at LEGO; Bjoern Kirchner, Corporate Vice President, Supply Chain Management for Henkel; and Jannie Appelt, VP Global Logistics at Just Eat.

A highlight was the panel discussion “The Future is Circular,” which spotlighted sustainability in retail with contributions from Decathlon, Selfridges, and Reflaunt.com.

DELIVER’s commitment to diversity was also evident, with its first-ever panel discussion on diversity within the supply chain industry. Led by authoritative figures from The Human Difference, Decathlon, and PVH, the panel explored ways to support female representation and elevate women to leadership roles.

Across the two days, the event showcased cutting-edge solutions from 134 supply chain brands, including GLS, Packeta, AutoStore, Amazon Shipping, and Maersk.

Phillip Brummond, Director International Business Development for GLS, praised the event, stating, “The main reason we come back each year is because we actually get to meet our target customers and showcase our international brand to them. It’s like a reunion, as we get to meet directly with our customers and also connect with new prospects. It’s all about connecting.

The DELIVER Vendor Awards were another highlight, recognizing excellence in five categories:

  • Brand Excellence Award: Maersk
  • Customer Experience Award: parcelLab
  • Sustainability Award: Spring GDS
  • Game Changer Award: Ocado Intelligent Automation
  • Rising Star Award: Relay Technologies

Ocado Intelligent Automation, a first-time attendee, expressed their gratitude for the recognition.

Jamie Spencer, Vice President of Sales – EMEA, commented, “To have that recognition at our first time here at DELIVER Europe means an awful lot to everybody back in the factory, everyone who’s here with us exhibiting today and certainly all the staff that have supported us with the event.

Sustainability remains a core pillar of DELIVER, which has operated as a carbon-neutral event since 2016. The event’s commitment to the environment includes adopting reusable stand materials and offsetting the emissions for all delegates, a practice applauded by DHL Global Head of Sales Ryan Hunter.

Looking ahead, the DELIVER team is already preparing for future events, including DELIVER America in Las Vegas on October 10-11, 2024, and DELIVER Asia in Singapore on March 5-6, 2025.

The 10th anniversary edition of DELIVER Europe is set to return to Amsterdam on June 4-5, 2025, promising even greater experiences and innovations.
